Danley was my uncle. My father was Myron "Big Mike" Doffin. I did not know Danley much at all. I can only remember seeing him a few times in my life. I do remember him being kind and hard working. I remember him letting this young city boy help milk the cows with the mechanical milk machine. I remember hunting rabbits on the farm and riding in a trailer almost full of soybeans. Godspeed Sir, Godspeed.

Walter and I were so saddened to hear of Danley's passing. We were in Nebraska in September and had a chance to stop in and visit for a short time with him. He was always glad to visit with us and let us know how he was doing and what all had happened since the last time we visited. We know he had a deep love of the land and farming was something that brought him joy. We will miss him. Jane and Walter Janzen, Warsaw Missouri

Very sorry to hear of Danley’s passing. I have a lot of fond memories of working on his farm as a young boy. Could always count on him to call me on my birthday (into adulthood) and later on my wedding anniversary. I have also enjoyed sharing my son Jakes growing up with him through pictures and the occasional visit to the farm. Sad to see him pass, but also comforted that he was on his farm until nearly the end, as I believe he would have wanted it that way, and I really couldn’t imagine him anywhere else.

Lawrence and family,
I am deeply saddened to see of the passing of your brother Danley. As high school classmates, we spent a lot of time together in vocational education classes and FFA. He was a gentle and kind person and helpful to others. Danley would always be one of the first to come and talk to me at our high school reunions. He loved agriculture and all that was associated with it.

Dale & I will always remember his smile and how he went above and beyond to be the best man in our wedding by getting up extra early to milk cows. Then he drove to Valentine Ne for the wedding, turned around and drive home to Milk cows that eve. We are Texas at our daugthers so will not be able to be at the funeral. Just want to let you know our thoughts are with you.
