Darlene (Wubbenhorst) Webster, 89, of Papillion, NE died on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Papillion Manor Nursing Home in Papillion, NE. Memorial services for Darlene will be held Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Wellspring Lutheran Church at 1406 E. Gold Coast Road in Papillion; Pastor Dan Delzell will be officiating. Interment will be in the Wisner Cemetery in Wisner, NE at a later time. Any memorials may be directed to the Gideon's International for Bible distributions (https://www.sendtheword.org/). Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner is assisting with the arrangements.
Darlene was born August 12, 1927 near Howells, NE. She attended country school and graduated from Beauty School. She worked as a beautician and then manicurist for many years. She loved getting together with family and friends, golfing, playing bridge, dancing, fishing, and walking with her neighbors. She also enjoyed travelling, making trips to Europe, Asia, and Alaska.
She is survived by her husband Everett Webster, son Randy Davis, and daughter-in-law Marjie Davis all of Papillion, NE; sister Wanda and brother-in-law Frank Sramek of Norfolk, NE; nephews Mike and Terry; and grandchildren Patrick, Katie, and Jenny.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Alma Wubbenhorst and her first husband John Davis.
