A Celebration of Life Service for Karen K. Huettmann age 76 of Lincoln, NE will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner, NE with Rev. Chuck Rager officiating. Interment will be in the Wisner Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the VFW Social Room. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Karen passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln, NE.

Karen Kay Huettmann was born on August 7, 1946 in West Point, NE to Theodore H. and Frances E. (Mann) Huettmann. She attended Wisner Public School, graduating from Wisner High School in 1964. After graduation she moved to Lincoln, NE to work for the Allied Group. She retired after 40 years of employment.

Karen was a member of V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #5767 of Wisner, NE. She enjoyed rooting for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs. Karen enjoyed collecting an assortment of things over the years.

Nephew-Bryan (Suzi) Huettmann of Clovis, CA and children-Ally, Becca & Tommie
Special Friend-Randy Lemmon of Holdrege, NE
Foster-Daughter-Missy (Dave) Ely of Lincoln, NE and family
She is also survived by cousins.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents-Theodore H. and Frances Huettmann, brother-Theodore M. Huettmann, and several aunts and uncles.
