Memorial services for Kenneth Taber age 64 of Wisner, NE will be on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the West Point Church of Christ with Military Honors. Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner is assisting the family.

Ken passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022 at Franciscan Healthcare in West Point, NE.

Kenneth Lee Taber was born on October 27, 1958 in El Paso, TX to Kenneth Floyd and Mary Jane (Davlin) Taber. Ken grew up in Roy, WA and served in the United States Army from November 11, 1975 until he was honorably discharged on November 10, 1978.

On September 25, 1978, he was united in marriage to Becky Woeppel in Roy, WA. After their marriage, he worked for Wilcox Farms. In 1992, they moved to Beemer and also resided in Texarkana, AR before returning to Wisner in 1998. He worked various jobs most recently for Sebade Feedlots.

Ken loved camping, spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Seattle Seahawks, and movies. He was a proud AA member for 16 years and he always put others first.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents-Kenneth and Mary Jane Taber, sister-Glenda Pack, and a brother-in-law-Harold Finch.
