Funeral services for Randy Davie age 63 of Wisner, NE will be on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wayne, NE with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne, NE. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner and will continue on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Randy passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Wayne Country View Care and Rehabilitation.

Randy Dale Davie was born on September 18, 1959 at Wayne, NE to William and Sharon (Lindsay) Davie. He attended Wayne Public Schools. After high school, Randy worked as a farm hand and at Great Dane in Wayne, NE. He went on to attend the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center and on April 2, 1991 was hired as a police officer by the City of Wisner. Randy continued to work for the City of Wisner until he retired on August 24, 2020.

Randy enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and going to the gun range. He loved attending all of his children’s high school activities.

Sister-in-law-Deb Davie of Wayne, NE and children-
Josh and Jacob

Randy was preceded in death by his parents-William and Sharon Davie, and his brothers-Donald “Jay” Davie and Todd Davie.
