Services for Kathleen "Kathy" Conrad age 67 of Beemer, NE will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Beemer, NE with Fr. Vincent Sunguti celebrating the mass. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the Beemer Legion Hall. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m., at the church. Minnick Funeral Home in West Point is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Kathy passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Franciscan Healthcare in West Point, NE.

Kathleen G. Conrad was born on June 18, 1953 in West Point, NE to Raymond and Elaine (Mahnke) Marksmeier. She attended Cuming County Rural School and graduated from Beemer High School in 1971. In September of 1971, she married Tom Conrad and was blessed with two children-Jackie and Jeff.

Kathy operated a trucking business in Atkinson and later worked for CTC in Norfolk, NE until retiring. Kathy later moved to Beemer, NE.

Kathy was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Beemer and Beemer American Legion Auxiliary Post #159.

Survivors include-
Daughter-Jackie Kopecky and Bryon Beutler of O’Neill, NE and children-Easton, Evan and Elijah
Son-Jeff and Yawni Conrad of Gretna, NE and children-Jessica, Skylar, Kaden, Emyrson and Finley

Raymond, Jr. “Butch” and Jean Marksmeier of West Point, NE
Rita and John Melland of Blair, NE
Mike Marksmeier and Mary Heller of Beemer, NE

Tom and Michelle Marksmeier of Norfolk, NE
Shelly Garcia of Pierce, NE
Nieces and nephews also survive her.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents-Raymond and Elaine Marksmeier.
