Private family memorial services for Curt Jacobsen age 67 of Wisner, NE will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Janelle Siffring officiating. Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner, NE is assisting the family with arrangements.
Curt passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Franciscan Healthcare in West Point, NE.
Curtis Lee Jacobsen was born on September 20, 1953 to Ronald and Marjorie (Schweers) Jacobsen in West Point, NE. He attended Wisner Elementary School, graduated from Wisner-Pilger High School in 1971 and went on to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Curt married Marilyn Podany and to this union a daughter Alisha was born.
Curt was employed by Louis Dinklage, Inc. for several years. On September 17, 1982, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Donner at the Christ Lutheran Church in Wisner, NE and to this union-Rachel, Owen and Lauren were born. Curt worked for Roth Feedlots until he retired. He also had custom feed hogs for a number of years.
Curt was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and side by side rides with his dogs.

Lauren Jacobsen and Jeremy Phillips of Wisner, NE and Lauren’s son-Chase
Sister-Mary Beth and Richard McDevitt of Rio Vista, CA and their sons.
Curt was preceded in death by his parents-Ronald Jacobsen and Marjorie Maloney, and a step-father-William Maloney.
