Obituary for Gary Minds
Mass of Christian Burial for Gary Minds age 59 of Beemer, NE will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wisner, NE with Fr. Vincent Sunguti officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m., and on Wednesday one hour prior to the service, all at the church. Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner is care of the arrangements.
Masks are recommended while in attendance at the church.
Gary passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer, NE.
Gary Lee Minds was born on December 29, 1960 to Elwood and Mollie Ann (Grashorn) Minds in Norfolk, NE. Gary attended Cuming County Rural School District #7. He helped out with the farm chores on the family farm, and was very meticulous in keeping the farm mowing done.
On September 5, 2019, he began residing at the Colonial Haven Nursing Home, where he particularly loved to play Bingo.
Gary was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wisner, NE.
He is survived by his brother-Galen Minds of Beemer, NE.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents-Elwood and Mollie Ann Minds, and a sister-Mary Ellen Grashorn.
