Private family graveside services for Paulette M. Tietz age 74 of Wisner, NE will be held at the Wisner Cemetery in Wisner, NE.
Paulette passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Legacy Garden Rehabilitation and Living Center in Pender, NE.
Paulette Marie Tietz was born on January 4, 1946 to Herbert and Loretta (Munderloh) Tietz at West Point, NE. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, rural Bancroft, NE. Paulette attended Zion Lutheran Parochial School and graduated from Wisner High School in 1964. While in high school, Paulette worked at Hoovers Café. She went on to attend St. Paul’s College at Concordia, MO. After graduating, she worked for Eastman-Kodak in St. Louis, MO and Phillips Medical in Cincinnati, OH before returning to Wisner. In Wisner, Paulette managed the True Value Hardware Store until having to retire for medical reasons.
Paulette was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wisner, NE, and volunteered for many years at the Wisner Care Center helping to lead weekly bible studies and Hymn Sings. She was an avid collector and loved to spend time with her beloved dog Buffy.

Brothers-Stuart and Cheri Tietz of Lincoln, NE
Jim Tietz of Palm Springs, CA
Allen and Diane Tietz of Ft. Wayne, IN
Nieces and nephews also survive her.
Paulette was preceded in death by her parents-Herbert and Loretta Tietz.
