Rose Ann Ella Prinz was born on June 30, 1940 in West Point, NE to Victor and Gertrude (Rief) Peatrowsky.
She attended country school through the 4th Grade and then Guardian Angels, graduating High School in 1958 as the Valedictorian. She played a key role in Bob’s education. She worked at Patterson Creamery prior to her marriage.

On February 20, 1960, she was united in marriage to Robert Prinz at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point, NE. The couple lived on the farm where Bob grew up from 1960 until moving to town in 2005. Rose Ann had worked at Randel Jewelry for 25 years, and also was also a custom seamstress. Rose Ann taught her daughters, grandchildren, several nieces, and great nieces how to sew over the years.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, its Guild, Catholic Daughters, Christian Mothers, St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary and a Cuming Co. Extension Club. Rose Ann was a 4-H leader with the Wonder Workers 4-H Club, and served as a 4-H Judge for several county fairs over the years. She was an avid Bridge player, belonging to several card clubs including the Pig Out Group. Rose Ann loved to cook and bake, her banana bread was always pre-sold at a number of church functions. She loved to garden, and tend to her flowers. She and Bob never missed a high school sporting event, and enjoyed attending speech and drama performances. Our sympathy to Bob and family - We are forever thankful and grateful to you and Rose Ann for the opportunity to live on this wonderful farm place. I think of Rose Ann each spring when the beautiful lilies come out of the ground and again each summer when they bloom. May God wrap you all in his loving and comforting arms during this sad time. You will remain in our prayers. - Chris and Angi Klitz

Roseann was my Wonderful Godmother and Confirmation sponsor. Her and Bob were also a host couple for our wedding. Our two families shared farms next to each other and always had so much fun together. Roseann was always so sweet and went right along with us in having fun. She will be missed!
