Obituary for Gail Anderson
Funeral services for Gail Anderson age 82 of Wisner, NE will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wisner, NE with Pastor Jared Hartman officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be in the Wisner Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will continue on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service, both at the church. Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner is assisting the family.
Gail passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Providence Medical Center in Wayne, NE.
Gail Hudson Anderson was born on March 7, 1937 at West Point, NE to Merlin and Ruth (Miller) Anderson. Gail attended Cuming Co. Rural School District #30 and graduated from Wisner High School in 1954. He served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958.
On June 29, 1957, he was united in marriage to Joleen Luedtke at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wisner, NE. The couple farmed and fed cattle near Wisner, NE and also operated a trucking firm, Cattlemen’s Express, for a number of years.
Gail was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, was a member of the Wisner Lion’s Club, and was currently serving as a councilman for the City of Wisner. He was always willing to lend a hand or provide equipment for area activities. His hobbies included supporting the Nebraska Huskers, collecting tractors of all sizes and participating in Tractor Rides. He loved spending time with his family and attending his granddaughters’ and great granddaughters’ activities.

Lisa and Colby Langenberg of Norfolk, NE and daughters-Lexie and Kendal

Brother-in-law-Lloyd and Sharyl Luedtke of Laurel, NE
Nieces and nephews also survive Gail.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
