Funeral services for Marlene Hart age 82 of Beemer, NE will be on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point, NE. Private family interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Creighton, NE. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Beemer United Methodist Church and will continue on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point, NE.
Marlene passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point, NE.
Marlene Elaine (Koenig) Hart was born on June 2, 1936 in Lynch, NE to Frank and Mary (Von Rentzell) Koenig. She grew up in Center, NE and graduated from Center High School. She went on to get her Normal Training at Wayne, NE.
On May 5, 1955, she was united in marriage to Milford Dean Hart at the Congregational Church in Center, NE. The couple lived at Creighton, moved to a farm near Coleridge, NE and near Laurel, NE before moving to a farm near Beemer, NE in 1960. In 1966, the family moved into Beemer, NE. Marlene worked at the Café in Beemer, was a cook at the Beemer Public Schools and Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer and also did in home daycare.
Marlene was a member of the Beemer United Methodist Church, was a Cub Scout leader for several years, and was active at the Beemer Senior Center, where she served on the board. She also belonged to a card club. Marlene welcomed everyone into her home and she cherished time spent with her family and friends.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband-Milford on September, 2, 2011, son-David Hart, granddaughter-Regan Hart, 4 brothers in law, and 2 sisters in law.
