Obituary for William Langhorst
Funeral services for William "Bill" Langhorst age 74 of Dodge, NE will be on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church-Olean, rural Dodge, NE with Fr. An Duy Phan as celebrant. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Public Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m., at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge, NE. A second visitation will be on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church-Olean. Minnick Funeral Chapel in Dodge is in charge of the arrangements. The family suggests that memorials be directed to Dodge Rescue.
William passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point, NE.
William Aldred Langhorst was born on January 8, 1944 at rural Dodge, NE to Frank and Catherine (Kaup) Langhorst. He attended Sacred Heart Academy-Olean and Dodge High School. At the age of 16, Bill began farming and raising livestock with his father. Bill continued to farm and was active in the cattle industry, where he had belonged to the Dodge County Cattle Feeders Association.
On December 9, 2012, he married Pat Radmaker in Las Vegas, NV.
Bill was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church-Olean, rural Dodge, NE.

Wife- Pat Langhorst of Dodge, NE
Sisters-Irene and Albert Guenther of West Point, NE
Mary Ann and Jack Lennemann of Snyder, NE
Sister-in-law-Arlene Langhorst of West Point, NE
He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents-Frank and Catherine Langhorst, siblings-Justina and Robert Miller, Leonard and Mary Langhorst, Paul Langhorst, and Conrad “Coonie” Langhorst.
