Hugh passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE.

Hugh Marr was born on May 10, 1933 at Winnebago, NE to Claude and Helen (Sauser) Marr. He grew up in the Walthill and Rosalie area, graduating from Rosalie High School in 1950.

Hugh served in the the United States Army from January 27, 1954 until being honorably discharged on January 26, 1956. Hugh worked as a USDA Meat Inspector for 42 years.

He enjoyed refurbishing antiques, going to auctions, gardening, was an avid reader, and loved watching Husker Women's Volleyball. The last year he loved discovering the hidden areas of Dodge on his golf cart.

Hugh was preceded in death by his parents, wife- Dorothy Marr on April 23, 1986, sister- Jane Bring, and two brothers- Bruce and Warren Marr.
