Funeral services for Harry Dohren age 78 of Wisner, NE will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church of Christ in Wisner, NE. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner and will continue on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Harry passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, NE.

Harry Aubrey Dohren was born on July 7, 1939 at Pilger, NE to Aubrey and Irene (Fickler) Dohren. Growing up the family lived on various farms in the Pilger area. He graduated from Pilger High School in 1956.

In 1961, he married Ethel Carstens. Harry drove a route truck for Fleming Foods in Lincoln, NE. In 1971, the family moved to Wisner, NE. Harry bought his first semi-tractor, started hauling cattle and never stopped.

On March 19, 2004, he married Leona (Barker) Weaver. Harry loved his Honda Goldwing motorcycles and going on motorcycle and snowmobile trips. He loved spending time with family, they made several trips to Oklahoma to see family.

Several nieces and nephews also survive him.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, wife- Ethel in 1990, sister-Shirley Schrad, brother-Kenny Dohren, step-daughter-Samantha Weaver, and brother-in-law-Richard Meyers.
