Mass of Christian Burial for Hermines Ulrich age 91 of Howells, NE will be on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Howells, NE. Interment will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point and will continue from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Howells, NE. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Howells, NE.

Hermines passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Wisner Care Center.

Hermines Catherine (Meister) Ulrich was born June 7, 1926 on the family farm near West Point, NE to Henry and Kunigunda (Schmecker) Meister. She attended St. Boniface Catholic School. On April 29, 1947, she was united in marriage to Frank Ulrich at St. Boniface Catholic Church-Monterey. The couple lived on a farm northeast of West Point until 1971, when they moved to a farm north of Howells, NE.

Hermines worked at the Parkview Home in Dodge from 1979 to 2006, when she retired. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Howells, NE. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and tending to her flowers.

Hermines was preceded in death by her parents, husband-Frank on November 14, 1997, son at birth-Daniel, granddaughter- Jenna Rae Ulrich, great grandson-Cody Troyer, son-in-law- Robert Wiese, sister-Bernadine Meister, and brothers- Monsignor Andrew Meister and Edward Meister.
