Obituary for Marvin "Speedy" Eusterbrock

Mass of Christian Burial for Marvin (Speedy) Eusterbrock age 75 of Norfolk, NE formerly of West Point, NE will be Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church-Aloys rural West Point, NE. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. at the Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home in West Point, NE and will continue after 6:30 p.m. at the church. There will be a public Vigil Service with Knights of Columbus Rosary at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church-Aloys. Marvin passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer, NE.

Marvin Frederick Eusterbrock was born July 27, 1934 near West Point, NE to Frank J. and Elizabeth (Timmerman) Eusterbrock. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Aloysius Catholic Church-Aloys rural West Point, NE. He attended St. Aloysius School through the 8th Grade. He worked on the family farm until entering the United States Army serving from 1955 to 1957. Upon being honorably discharged he farmed north of Dodge until retiring in 1990 and moving to Norfolk, NE. He was a Life member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree, was a member of the American Legion Post #16 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1644 of Norfolk, NE. Marvin enjoyed bowling, playing cards and visiting with family and friends.
