Funeral services for Todd Davie, age 54 of Wayne, NE will be on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Wayne, with Pastor Kyle Nelson officiating. Interment with military honors will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne, NE. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will continue on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service, both at First United Methodist Church in Wayne, NE. Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Todd passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at his home.

Todd Alan Davie was born on July 15, 1964 in Wayne, NE to William and Sharon (Lindsay) Davie. He attended Wayne Public Schools. Todd served in the United States Army from 1983-1986, where he received awards and citations and expert marksman. After being honorably discharged he returned to Omaha.

On September 19, 1987, he was united in marriage to Deb Golden on Papillion, NE. The couple lived in Crofton, NE for a short time, before returning to Omaha, where he worked for a lightning protection firm installing lightning rods all over the United States. In 2002, he graduated from ITT-Omaha and began working for Celerion. In 2012, they moved to Wayne, NE.

Todd was a great story teller, loved spending time with family and friends, spending time in the mountains, playing golf, loved photography and his animals.

Sons- Josh Davie of Omaha, NE
Jacob Davie of Wayne, NE
Sister- Dawn and Bruce Lang of Beatrice, NE and children-
Chris Lang, Cale Lang, Taylor Lang
Brother- Randy Davie of Wisner, NE and children-
Billie Davie, Shawn Davie, Courtney Davie, Drew Davie
Sister-in=law-Vicki Bailey of Elkhorn, NE and children-
Shawn Bailey, Crystal Bailey

Todd was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-Jay Davie.
