Bill entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point, NE.

Bill was born in West Point Nebraska to Mary Elaine (Nelson) and Vernon Jesse Cohee on
January 8, 1947. He had a younger brother Bob currently in Davenport IA and sister Marla
Brabec of Ames NE.

He attended District 19 until 9th grade when he tore it up at Beemer Public School and
graduated 1965. He furthered his education at University of Nebraska at Lincoln until he figured
out he knew it all- at least to be a farmer.

On September 13 1969 he married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Susan Emma
Martin. They had 3 wonderful children; Amy Ann, Thomas William, and Amanda Sue.
Amy has four children; Zoe Hatfield engaged to Peter Oster, Betsy Hatfield, Sam Hatfield, and
Kate Hatfield. Tom had to copy Amy, and together with his saintly wife, Michelle (Steffensmeier) have Michael, Ava, Emma, and Nick Cohee. Mandy’s biological son is Whitaker Proll-Clark and she is soon to be married to Adrian Christensen who has 2 awesome kids, Eloise and Kai.

Bill farmed for a generous part of his life. He co-founded Country Welding & Repair with Chuck
Lierman. In 2012 he retired to his beautiful house on the lake where he enjoyed gardening and
woodworking.

Bill was a lifelong fishermen and hunting enthusiast. He was generous with his time and talents.
He volunteered for many organizations and events. He faithfully attended Nebraska Volleyball
games. He always enjoyed a good party, whether he was hosting or attending.

However the joy of his life was his grandkids. They always felt his love and enjoyed being
spoiled rotten.
