Funeral services for Beatrice Steinmeyer age 99 of Wisner, NE will be on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wisner, NE. Interment will be in the Wisner Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner and will continue on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Beatrice passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer, NE.

Beatrice Steinmeyer was born to Ernest and Elsie (Wickert) Schellpeper on February 27, 1918 at Pilger, NE. On September 10, 1937, she was united in marriage to William Steinmeyer of Wisner at Grace Lutheran Church of West Point, NE.

The couple lived on a farm south of Wisner for 50 years until the death of her husband in 1988. In August of 1988, she moved into Wisner and in 2014 became a resident at Colonial Courts Assisted Living in Beemer, NE.

Beatrice was a 50 year member of Zion-St. John Lutheran Church, rural Wisner, its ladies aid and LWML. She was currently a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wisner, NE.

Beatrice is survived by relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and a brother.
