I received Gayleen's call. I understand that my father Robert Wendt (who turns 93 in 2 days) and Verlin were cousins. We have shared the news of Caroline's passing with him, and we join you in honoring her life.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one is one of the hardest things we have to face in life. I have gotten comfort from the scriptures at John 5:28 where we are told there will be a resurection of all those in the memorial tombs. Won't it be wonderful to welcome out loved ones back? I hope this thought comforts you as it does me.
