Private family graveside services for Richard A. Koll age 84 of rural Wayne, NE will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pilger Cemetery. Rev. Dale Topp is officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner, NE.

Richard passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Providence Medical Center in Wayne, NE.

Richard August Koll was born on October 8, 1932 near Winside, NE to August and Julia (Carr) Koll. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Winside, NE. Richard attended Wayne County Rural School District #16. He began farming with his father. In the early 1950's, Richard served in the U.S. Army in Germany.

On September 23, 1955, he was united in marriage to Esther Reeg at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Pilger, NE. Richard continued farming, he also worked for several area cattle feeders and was employed at Michael's Foods in Wakefield from 1990 until retiring in 2000.

Son-Randell Koll of Wayne, NE
Brothers-in-law- Pete and Julie Reeg of Pilger, NE
Ted and Marilyn Reeg, Jr. of Wayne, NE
Along with nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife-Esther in March of 2016, his parents, a brother in infancy and one sister.
