Rosalee  Guenther
Memorial mass for RosaLee Guenther age 84 of Beemer, NE will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Beemer, NE. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church. There will be a Holy Cross Church Women Rosary at 4:00 p.m., with a public Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Minnick Funeral Home in West Point is handling the arrangements for the family.

RosaLee passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the Wisner Care Center.

RosaLee Ann Guenther was born on November 11, 1931 on the family farm near Beemer, NE to Herman and Rose (Gentrup) Guenther. She attended Cuming County Rural School District #21 and graduated from Guardian Angels High School in 1949. Rose helped on the family farm and also assisted neighbors following high school before moving to Fremont, NE. In Fremont, Rose worked at the Gambles Store and then worked at the Fremont Tribune for nearly 50 years. Following her retirement she moved to Beemer, NE to be near family.

Rose was a very active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont, helping wherever she could, and was presently a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Beemer. She had served on the resident council at Colonial Haven Nursing Home/Colonial Courts and included the residents as part of her family. She enjoyed making mints, baking, taking photographs at family gatherings, and spending time with family and friends.

Brother-Herman and Pat Guenther of Chandler, AZ
Sisters- Genevieve Hass of West Point, NE
Helen Kucera of Kearney, NE
Sisters-in-law- Betty Guenther of Beemer, NE
Mary Kay Guenther of West Point, NE
Several nieces and nephews also survive Rose.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers- Kenneth and Richard Guenther, and sisters Dolores Ulrich and Mary Kind.
