Mollie Ann  Minds
Funeral services for Mollie Ann Minds age 85 of Beemer, NE will be on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wisner, NE. Interment will be in the St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will continue on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. There will be a Vigil Service and Rosary on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Minds passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer, NE.

Mollie Ann Minds was born on October 6, 1930 at Wisner, NE to Dick and Agnes (Osman) Grashorn. Mollie Ann was a lifetime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wisner, NE. She attended Cuming Co. Rural School District #40 and graduated from Guardian Angels High School in 1949.

On January 7, 1950, she was united in marriage to Elwood Minds at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wisner, NE. The couple lived on a farm northeast of Wisner. Mollie had worked for over 20 years at the Wisner Care Center.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, its Ladies Guild, a member of Wisner V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #5767, and the Cuming Co. Historical Society.

Husband- Elwood Minds of Beemer, NE
Sons- Galen Minds of Beemer, NE
Gary Minds of Beemer, NE

Mollie Ann was preceded in death by her parents, daughter- Mary Ellen, and three brothers.
