Mass of Christian Burial for Milada Brester age 97 of Dodge, NE will be on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, with Fr. An Du Phan as celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church and will continue prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. There will be a Christian Mother's Rosary at 3:00 p.m. and a Public Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m on Friday at the church. Minnick Funeral Chapel in Dodge, NE in in charge of the arrangements.

Milada passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Parkview Home in Dodge, NE.

Milada Ann Brester was born on August 12, 1918 in Dodge Co., NE to John A. and Bessie (Pasel) Tichota. She attended Dodge Co. rural school. On May 11, 1944, she was united in marriage to Herman C. Brester at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. The couple lived in Dodge.

After Herman passed away in 1957, Milada went to work at Vlach’s Grocery Store in Dodge and later for Marv’s Grocery Store for numerous years.

Milada was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, its altar society and Christian Mother’s. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers and also working on crossword puzzles.

Sister-in-law- Gracie Tichota of Cedar Rapids, NE

Milada was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and 2 daughters-in-law- Carol and Peggy.
