LeRoy T. Vig, age 81 of Pilger, NE, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014 at the Wisner Care Center. At Lee's request no services are planned. Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner is in charge of arrangements.

LeRoy T. Vig was born on September 16, 1933 in Superior, WI to LeRoy V. and Kathleen J. Vig. He graduated from Minong, WI High School. Lee served in the United States Air Force for 10 years. He married Doris (Dover) Lyons in 1960 and moved to Norfolk, NE. They later moved to Pilger in 1966, where Lee was employed at Pete Christensen Trucking, L&L Trucking and also operated his own rig. He also served as the cop for the Villiage of Pilger.

Lee is survived by daughters: Linda (Charles) Wiedman of Blanco, TX, Sandra (Dave) Baumert of Marshall, MO, and Stasia Stark of Norfolk, NE, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife-Doris, and a son Ronald Lyons.
