Funeral services for Delilah Aurich age 90 of Beemer, NE will be on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Zion-St. John Lutheran Church, rural Wisner, NE. Interment will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery, rural Beemer, NE. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the family present from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Minnick Funeral Home in Beemer and will continue on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Delilah passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, NE.

Delilah Louise Katherine Aurich was born November 4, 1922 at rural, Wisner, NE to Lorenz and Louise (Eggers) Schwartz. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, rural Wisner. Delilah attended Zion Lutheran Parochial School. On February 2, 1950, she was united in marriage to Obert Aurich at St. John Lutheran Church rural, Beemer, NE. The couple farmed southwest of Beemer, NE.

Delilah was a member of Zion-St. John Lutheran Church, its Ladies Aid, Quilters, and was a voting member; member of the Industrious Project Club, and numerous card groups. She helped found and was a leader for the Peppy Peppers 4-H Club. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and faithfully kept photo albums for the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Brother-in-law-Verlin Schulz of Wisner, NE

She was preceded in death by her parents-Lorenz and Louise Schwartz, sister-Dorine Schulz, and brother-Harlan Schwartz.
