Obituary for Lois Vyborny

Funeral services for Lois Vyborny age 79 of Beemer, NE will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Pilger, NE with interment in the Pilger Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner and will continue on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Lois passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the Wisner Care Center.

Lois Ann Vyborny was born on November 14, 1933 at Pilger, NE to Otto and Clara (Shocker) Asch. She grew up in Pilger and was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Pilger, NE. Lois attended Pilger Public Schools and graduated from Pilger High School. On September 5, 1951, she was united in marriage to William J. Vyborny at Stanton, NE. Lois worked as a bookkeeper for the Farmers Coop and Stalp Gravel in Wisner, helped at the Sultzer Funeral Home and Kuzelka Funeral Home in Pilger, as a medical assistant for Dr. Simmons in Oakland, NE and as the Office Manager and CAN at the Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer, NE. The couple has lived in Beemer the last 20 years.

Lois was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Pilger, member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter #146 and the Daughters of the Nile. She loved to work and spend time with her family.

Daughter- Kris and husband Bob Lueninghoener of Stanton, NE and family
Adam Lueninghoener and Stephanie and daughter-Haleigh, Lacy & Joslynn
Matthew Lueninghoener

Sister-Carol Grone of Springfield, MO

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, brother-Darwin Asch and sister-Betty Brahmer.
